I have written with a basic Montblanc Meisterstuck fountain pen for 29 years since my Uncle gave it to me when entering law school. It is a long way from the best fountain pen but I love writing with it. Even if I had paid for it I would still be ahead on money considering the number of disposables I would have gone through in that time. Once you adapt to a fountain pen it is hard to go back to a ball point.

should go to pen island.com

Penisland.net BTW

He may have known that. All is blocked due to this also being possibly PENISland. Which is a website I do not intend to search.

Retros are good but there unfortunately aren't very good refill options IMO

Pilot Hi-Tec C

ETA: currently using a Uniball Signo DX 0.38. Writes a little fatter than the Hi-Tec C but is smoother writing, as the Pilot seems to dig into the paper a little more.

Love the G2 ink...I put them inside a fancier pen.

Great writing + looks more professional = win.

UM-151 in blue black is the greatest disposable on the planet. I like .5 though.

I will try the 0.5.

The 0.38 can be a little scratchy depending on the paper.

I have a green 0.25. Talk about a fine point pen.

They're hard to find, I have to order through Jetpens (at least to get the blue black).

.38 is more popular, you can get those on Amazon usually.

G2s are the king of all pens and have been for 15 years now.

One of those things ... if it ain't broke don't fix it. Greatest ball point ever made.
