I usually grab my opponent's arm and make him hit himself.

The flying arm bar. Works every time in a bar fight. Any moves that involves jumping, spinning or flipping are perfect for bar fights. Trust me.

Eta: pro wrestling moves are just as effective. Stone cold stunner is great in real combat.

Tight space, head butt, pull their shirt over their head and knee the frick outta them.

1 on 1 with room, wait for them to swing, then shoot in and pick their arse up and slam them on the ground. That in itself can knock them out. If not you are in position to beat them down.

You wanna try to avoid punching someone if you can because you don't wanna break your hand. But if you must, don't hit someone in their nose like some here are saying. Hit them in chin. It doesn't even take a lot of force to knock someone out on the chin who doesn't know how to take a punch.

But really just avoid fighting if at all possible because you don't know if someone will pull a weapon. And you probably don't need to get in legal trouble either.

Poke em right in the eye. Motherfricker can't do shite after you bury a meaty finger second knuckle deep into his eye socket.
