There's one in Brentwood, TN that's really good, but Brentwood is one of the richest areas of the country per capita and this location is right in among a bunch of professional office complexes.

It isn't the restaurant that is trashy, it's all on location and staff. My experience taught me to stay away from any of them in the hood and staffed with nothing but dindu's. The McDonalds in Ensley, Alabama comes to mind.

Burger King is the right answer. I ate about 1/3 of a chicken sandwich one time before I bit down in the cool chewy uncooked center. Haven't been to one since.

Burger King.
It has to be be the fast food place of last resort, where only the dregs of society can get jobs. Some of the dumbest mother frickers on the planet work at Burger King. Plus their food gives me the trots.
