I'd be more concerned about how to get rid of your friend. She left an American flag up in a storm? What a stupid count, you should punch her in the face.

A local VFW or American Legion can dispose of it as well.

Why the frick was it flying in the storm in the first place?

Fold it PROPERLY into a triangle, make a fire large enough to totally burn the flag and burn it. Put the fire out when the flag is totally consumed. Bury the ashes.

Since your friend couldn't be assed to bring it in out of the rain, I somehow doubt she'll go through the flag disposal.

EDIT: I forgot. Does she have nice tits? Pics or GTFO.

Don't just burn it.

Use the proper etiquette to burn it.

Or even better, find a local Boy Scout troop and give it to them and they can do it.

I think it is burning it.

eta:

Flag Disposal: 1. The flag should be folded in its customary manner. 2. It is important that the fire be fairly large and of sufficient intensity to ensure complete burning of the flag. 3. Place the flag on the fire. 4. The individual(s) can come to attention, salute the flag, recite the Pledge of Allegiance and have a brief period of silent reflection. 5. After the flag is completely consumed, the fire should then be safely extinguished and the ashes buried. 6. Please make sure you are conforming to local/state fire codes or ordinances. Note: Please contact your local VFW Post if you'd like assistance or more information on proper flag disposal.

Throw it in the dumpster because that's where our country is going.

just throw it in the trash. you don't have to make a big show out of it. you're not going to impress anyone, believe me.

Honestly, I would just throw mine in the trash. It's just a piece of fabric. How I treat my fellow countrymen is of vastly more importance.

We have a flag disposal memorial thing over here in Bay St Louis. It's been redone since the storm, but I can't find a recent pic.
