re: What's the most money you've won/lost at the casino?

Me and a buddy went to Vegas for a weekend a couple years ago. I lost about $4K between Friday and Sunday and I was sick. That was being up at some points and down at some points and doing all kinds of other stuff besides gambling. My buddy on the other hand lost ~$20K in that time frame and I found him at 6am Monday morning still chasing loses as we were supposed to be headed to the airport.

Won $620 on my lunch break at Races and Aces (video poker)

Lost $240 in Windsor, Ontario (various games)

It depends. If I am waiting to play hold'em or something, I will slip a $20 in a machine. If I win a little bit on the the first spin, I will cash out. I have a ticket in my wallet right now for $22.50. The last time I went to L'auberge I was waiting to play hold'em, put a $20 and as soon as I got above $20 I cashed out.

One time at Harrah's I put a $20 in and on my second spin I won $100. I cashed out right away. Those machines are not designed for people to win money so cashing out as soon as I have more than I put in, I feel like I beat the house..

One night when I was with a group of friends, we had been drinking before and I lost $300-$400..

I one time went to vegas. Was there less than 24 hours. Withdrew $1800 in $200 increments the entire time. Imagine having to give your thumb print that many times!

I lost $40 in like 3 minutes at a black jack table one night. I stopped right there.

One night I won $240 at the slots. I probably spent $50 on the slots to get that and then spent the rest at various bars that night.

Went to vegas with $700 cash. Came home from vegas with $700 cash.

Craps paid for dinner at Mesa Grill and that steakhouse in NYNY, three days of drinks, an evening at Sapphire where I spent $200 literally before I freaking sat down. That place will drain you dry. It's insane. The second night there I turned $40 into a little over $600.

Remains the only time I've won money playing craps. Most I've ever lost is about $100.

Won $800 on the five dollar slots at harrahs.

Back years ago when I used to go to the casino occasionally, I hit them on three consecutive trips at the blackjack table. Won $1800 one trip, $2700 the next, and then $7600.

Thought I was invincible and the next trip I lost $3000. I was almost physically sick the next day and didn't go back for a long time.

If I play now, I'll only buy in with $200-300 and if I lose that I'm done. Went to a casino recently with my nephew who'd never been and won $350.
