Seemed like BR had them once a year at the fair grounds or flea market in gonzales?

For the record, flea markets are trashy.

The one that was held at Pennington every year for a while was canceled back in 2012, funding issues.

A shame, it was usually a good time.

They have them. Gonzales, Natchez does a nice one, a few in Texas, Decatur, Alabama.

Foley Alabama has one next weekend.

They just had one this past weekend in Jonesville, La (about 30 minutes from Natchez, MS) Four Rivers Balloon Races is what it was called I believe.

In the fall at lamar Dixon, I went last year and rode in one. Parking is much better and they run it pretty well.
They have a fair as part of it too with rides but it is far enough away where it does not matter

Remember when that guy's balloon deflated and he died? I was working at that festival. The guy tried to ascent too fast and his burner burned a hole in the the balloon. He plummeted to the ground. I remember his balloon being much higher than the rest, then forming in the shape of a mushroom, then falling to the ground.
