If you think Catholics don’t believe in science then you’re blissfully ignorant.

FYI, don’t cite Gallileo. He wasn’t persecuted for saying the Earth was round. At the time, to publish a scientific paper, you had to publish an opposing view to debate your theory at the same time. Rather than find someone else to debate him, Gallileo used a pseudonym and debated himself. That’s what he was persecuted for. The Catholic Church has always supported scientific discovery, and most physicists who are religious are Catholic.

I liked growing up there as a kid. And I liked going to college there.

For the group of people that are between college and raising a family, BR is a nightmare.
