What would your philanthropy be if you were a multibillionaire?

Bill Gates uses his wealth (and the help of Bono) to fight HIV and famine in Africa.
Elon Musk uses his wealth to expedite mankind's conquering of our final frontier.
The Koch brothers use their wealth to rig the game in their favour and create more wealth.
What would you do if your next great idea turns into the next Twitter, mate?
Personally, I'd build a high tech submarine with the latest and greatest radar and sonar. I'd take it this craft, named "Godfrey of Bouillon" after the great Christian Crusader, and I'd equip it with a retractable arm at the hull. This arm would be in the shape of Christ's burden, the Old Rugged Cross, and it would be filed to a razor-sharp point.
Based in beautiful Amalfi, I would head out on "Godfrey" each evening at sundown, playing "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" and "Onward, Christian Soldiers" interspersed with Orthodox Gregorian Chants as I intently scan my monitors for signs of invaders......
Upon locating these floating incubators of malaria, tuberculosis, and bestiality with a pinch of paedophilia, I'd calmly press the button which activates the arm from the hull, ascend from the dark, inky sea, and strike a bawdy and hearty blow for all of Christendom.

In the United States it would be Education.
Internationally, I would focus on areas where people have absolutely nothing and get them access to whatever is possible to give them access to.

I'd focus on raising awareness of mental illness and providing adequate mental health services to people of all ages, but particularly veterans. The VA is a joke and I see too many people, veterans and non-vets, who receive inadequate care or no care at all until they reach a psychiatric crisis.

I can't tell you how many kids that I know that this hospital has saved.
I already give them quite a bit but I would give enough for them to be able to find a cure.

I would have two.
A foundation for organ transplants. No child would ever be denied an organ transplant based on inability to pay.
A prosthetic limb foundation. No child or any veteran who lost a limb due to military service would ever be without a good prosthetic.

I'd be interested in running a company in an area such as North BR. Not give a crap if it turns a profit for the first few years. Just employ as many people as possible while breaking even. Purely a social experiment to see if you can turn an area around in a generation. It's basically a form of welfare since no person trying to turn a profit would waste their time. But, it'd also teach people to work. Then I'd just hand it over to the employees if it ever took off.
