I know this is a little football related but I feel it is still appropriate for the OT. One of my best friends is getting married and the engagement party happens to be on 11/8 (Lsu-Bama game). I am for sure standing in the wedding. Problem is he is announcing his best man at the party, which is a good possibility I can be the best man. I am an avid LSU fan and season ticket holder. Would you say screw the party and go to the game or am I more than obligated to attend the party(starts @ 5 in destrahan)?

No friend of mine would have an engagement party during a home LSU vs Bama football game, so I don't know what to say...

Yeah I told him he sucks but he didn't even know that was the date of it and he feels terrible now. Him and his family and fiance's family have never been the biggest football families so they prolly didn't even look at the schedule.

It is beetween 3 of us that are really good friends throughout grade school and college and after college still. SO he hasnt been able to decide so i think he is just going to wait since he hasnt told anyone yet.
