I'd just tear it in half and toss it

I wouldn't take money but I am not good enough to return it

I accidently did this by clicking yes, instead of no...but I still had to reenter my pin to continue so i just drove off anyway.

With Regions (my bank) you have to remove your card to continue with any transaction, a nice little feature to keep from leaving it.

Cut it up. Only a POS would answer anything else.

Ummm, ok, no. I would have gone in the same bar, bought drinks for the whole bar, then when I closed out gave him the card back.

Leave it there, unless I saw it dropped. Could be a trap.

It was not a local bank. I do not trust gas station workers. I looked on facebook and didn't find them. Found a number on white pages dot com. 60+ year old lady who did not realize she dropped it. she identified card (bank and last eight of number) and met me to pick it up. She brought sister to ER today and is leaving for vacation tomorrow. Lots of karma coming my way.

I would have cut it up had she not been found.

Good job.

Lol at the idiots saying they'd try to use it. All the pumps have cameras pointing at your license plates.

Today I had a call from a Lt. on the Fairfax County police department telling me that he found my Fairfax County Bar Card in the parking lot (it must have fallen out of my pocket when I took out my phone). I drove back to court and picked it up. The card makes it easier to get into the courthouse without standing in line to go through the magnetometer. I appreciated the cop's kindness in getting it back to me.

Cowardly?

Tell me what is courageous about occupying my time with the problems of strangers?

It's a nice thing to do. I don't have time to be a Good Samaritan and hunt down people who drop their shite.

Ahh yes, how could you possibly spare the 2 seconds to pick up the card and dispose of it so the owner doesn't have some other trash bag try and use it.

If I did that, how would she ever find it when she came back for it?

All of these cards are fraud protected.

You can do all kinda dumb shite and I won't judge or care much, but don't be a thief.

Some lady at the bar I worked the other night after the Prince concert tried to steal an unopened bottle of Patron. Followed her all the way to the dance floor in a separate room and busted her and took her to security. She tried pulling the "i'm so drunk, look at me spilling my vodka cran" move, but I wasn't having that shite.... I didn't have to pay for the bottle but I still wanted the dumb bitch busted.

I have actually found CC's on the ground on two different occasions. Gave them to the cashier, and walked away both times feeling like I just did a bad thing. They always have the look like, "Hmmm, a credit card....interesting"

Eta: Because of that, I'll no longer turn them in. I am either gonna call the bank, the CC company, or cut it up

I'd call whatever bank the card belonged to and let them know I have it.

Meh, they'd just tell you to destroy it.

Slide it in, if it works fill up. Destroy it and know you still saved the bank and customer time and money...everybody wins
