Yeah it's odd they decide to stop now after some lame gay slur.

I said it the other night, but this wasn't the only reason, but rather a trigger for a topping point. They kept towing that line then finally someone had enough.

Old school, but they had a sign back in the Archer days when we were playing UTenn. UT had a running back named Reggie Cobb that was suspended for alleged cocaine use.

They had a huge papier-mâché, black nose over a line of flour that was about 20 feet long (looked like a line of coke).

The sign read, "two things on the line tonight, Mike Archer's job and Reggie Cobb's nose"

Louisiana governor election was nearing..."Give Mike your vote, he did the Goat."

Apparently Mike Foster was a Deke.

didn't they also do something where they pretended to kill Santa in front of a bunch elementary school students?

That was probably after my time, but I do remember a dead cat hanging in one of their trees.

Can't remember if it was for a game or maybe Halloween. This had to be late 70s or early 80s.

They haven't done it in decades, but they used to sink a cut-down pine tree in the front yard and use dead critters as ornaments.

Presidential election season, George H. W. Bush (Deke alum) is running against a gray-haired guy with last name of Benson.

Deke sign says "hey Benson, I've screwed an old goat before"

On the front lawn was a big 10 foot goat decoration with a giant screw sticking out of it's arse.

to those awesome fricks not given.

After Shaq and James Jacquet (running back at the time) got in a fight at Broussard, they had a sign that said, "Shaq says no Jacquet required".
