i thought i was in some standard country area like i was used to (basically i10 east to BR or 171 north to shreveport or 165 to oakdale). it was at night and i stopped for gas and to walk around and get something to drink. walked into the gas station and i quickly realized i was in the ghetto. then i walked out to my car and there were 20+ guys who looked like they were from the 9th ward....on bicycles
nothankyou
LOL, Mansfield is pretty bad, too. Especially right after the Haynesville Shale. You had all of these poor meth heads that suddenly had money in their pockets. I swear you could film the Walking Dead anywhere from Mansfield down to Zwolle.

I've really only been to Jackson, Corinth and Oxford

Valley Fire (6+ months after the fire) in northern CA.
Had to drive through there two weeks ago (an official detour. they were working on some bridge) .
You are driving with gorgeous wineries on both sides, and red bud trees in bloom bordering the grapes.
You go a few miles and you turn a bend and BOOM! its a scene from the Devastation of Smaug.
Mordor is black. Only black.
black.

That's probably the winner if we are talking about the US.

Kim, take it easy. I live in Tallulah.
Downtown Tallulah sucks but out in the country is beautiful

Both are obviously terrible but something about Memphis combined with almost Arkansas makes west Memphis worse in my eyes
Vibe is different

various parts of the sprawling memphis ghetto. Parts of New Orleans are obviously bad but Memphis ghetto just sprawls endlessly and are miles away from the nearest civilization.

Let's just say Memphis. It's one of the biggest shitholes in the entire South, if not the biggest.
