I once strained the weed bits out of my gravity bong, microwaved them to dry them and then smoked them again.

That was just a few weeks ago but I'm still pretty ashamed about it.

After a 25 year drug addiction, in August 1994 SWAT kicked my door in..5 felonies including trafficking (cocaine) and racketeering. Next 30 days I went to 30 day rehab, signed divorce papers and sold my business for 250k under book value under threat of feds coming after it. Rehab worked for about 3 weeks...It really sucked to pay retail for my drugs for the next 10 years..Fast forward to 2004 when I had a "come to Jesus" experience at age 47..literally. I walked away from the crack pipe and other drugs and am now 13 years clean...
Side note..Bad search warrant and I walked at pre trial, all my family relationships have been restored, I lead a weekly prison ministry, and just retired financially secure...To God be the glory!

Gave up grad school dream for better financial stability. Didn't find employment anyway so I took a low paying adjunct job. Been living with parents for 7 months. Wife is overworked and stressed. She got major skin cancer. Reapplied to grad school I left after discussing it with my wife. Got rejected. Renters were scheduled to buy our money pit of a house but that's falling through. Market still hasn't recovered back to what we bought it for so we can't sell with a realtor without losing all our savings from living with my parents.

Gained thirty pounds since this all started. Developed supraspinatus tendinitis which has ruined not only my ability to lift weights but also my ability to play guitar for an extensive period of time killing my prospects for side income with music.

Maybe not the worst things ever but it's suckin'.

On my honeymoon my wife and I went scuba diving for the first time. We only had the beginner course so we could only go down to 40 ft or so, but that's still probably the lowest point I've ever been.
