Only 29 and have all my direct relatives and best friends.
Yes, very lucky.
But 1-9-12 was transcendent depression. I experienced that shite with my dad and brother. Instead of the high of having the best college football team of all time and witnessing us win the title in person over our arch nemesis Saban, we went the complete opposite direction.
It was so bad because it could've been so incredibly good.

My wife had a kid and never lost the weight. Actually gained more. I know looks aren't everything but it sucks to wake up one day to a fat wife with fat tendencies and zero desire to change.

Have you spoken with her about losing that weight?

There's been two super low moments of my life. In 2006 I had part of my lung removed, and could have died multiple times. I couldn't play football, lost over 40 pounds of body weight (I was actually in great shape, so a large chunk of that was muscle) and the military was no longer an option (I wanted to join the Marines or Army to eventually be a Ranger).
The other low point has happened multiple times the past three years. I've been battling depression and anxiety for a while now. I decided to ween myself off anxiety meds (stupid) and it ramped up my anxiety by bucket loads. Honestly, I hated myself for what I deemed to be failure after failure. I've been half arse taking the CPA exam for almost 3 years, letting myself get into destructive relationships with people who were more interested in filling some hole in themselves more than actually being a friend or relationship. Therapy has massively helped me beat that for the most part, and I'm waking up in the morning full of Piss and vinegar rather than staying up late so I can avoid the responsibilities for another day of being shitty.

Well put. What kind of therapy are you partaking in?

About 3 weeks ago when my dad died.

In middle school I went with my parents to their friends house, I had to take a dump so I used their upstairs bathroom. Clogged the toilet, it ended up over flowing. No plunger in sight, I ended up having to use my freaking hands and still couldn't un clog it. Ended up using their bath towels to clean up the mess on the floor, and had to leave the toilet clogged. Put the towels in their laundry basket.
Probably not my worst day, but still one I'm ashamed of and not sure how I could of fixed it outside of professing. Which was probably the right move...

You are joking, right? If college football was your worst day then you are either under 12 years old, incredibly sheltered or incredibly rich. Congrats to you if you are any of the three.
Yesterday for me!
And, sorry Jorts, should have replied to Cat, not you.

ok it makes sense now...I used to take losses really hard but as you age (usually) you get over losses much quicker

I think I need to go to therapy. This is me every day right now.

If he does, I have a feeling that will then be the lowest point of his life.
