The better question would be which state has normal people
As far as normal goes (Which isn't necessarily a good thing). Somewhere in the midwest would probably win.

Been all over the United States but by far the weirdest you will ever meet is from this part of the country.

I live in Austin and the vast majority of people have absolutely zero social skills. Very socially awkward population.
You mean all the folks from California moving to Austin?

I would have thought so too. Visited a few times and accepted a job here. It's largely tech based, so there's a lot of IT mindsets here.

Kansas - they seem to be isolated from the rest of the states. No one really "visits" Kansas. It isn't diverse or scenic. No bigger cities. Just wheat and corn fields.
New Mexico - that sun does something to you

yet isolate themselves from minorities
I see this comment quite a bit from southerners. How are we isolating ourselves? Minorities are free to move anywhere in the country. We can't help where they choose to live. Should we be paying to move them in or should we leave and move to them to avoid accusations that we're "isolating" ourselves?

He didn't ask which state has the weirdest people born in it

I dont know, just a different mentality then the rest of the country. I call on people all over the country, not every state, but a lot, and those are the weirdest

The people there are average white bread and totally normal. I've been all over, including Kansas several times, and there's nothing weird about Kansans. Boring, yes. Weird, not at all.

Lawrence, KS says hello. No bigger cities? Ever heard of Kansas City? It's on MO-KS border.
You get out much?

It's fundamental, inherent, intrinsic... I mean, no one is saying y'all are actively doing it now, but due to the way things were laid out in the past, be that restrictions in the past based on deed restrictions, or issues with loans, or decisions to build the projects all in one place, or whatever. In the present, in the NE, the layout of the neighborhoods in terms of who lives where is solidly white in one vast area, and darkness over in a completely separate area. In the south and west, for the most part, everyone is intermixed in terms of where they live.
