Which states have you been to where the people just seemed strange or "off" in some way?

I found Maine to be very strange. Beautiful landscape and scenery but the people were very off.

States that are all white may have low crime, but they are strange humans. Off topic, they love to complain about how racist the South is, but yet isolate themselves from minorities.

If you asked this question to every person that lived outside of Louisiana, that would be their answer. Not saying it's right or wrong, just fact.

Too true. From personal experience, east coasters are very high and mighty with their "progressive" values and purported "inclusiveness," but roll through suburban DC/Bethesda, Northern Jersey, etc., the hoods are completely segregated and not a minority to be seen for miles, save for maids/nannies. Total do as I say not as I do folks.
