You asking a bunch of southern conservative white dudes about this is pretty funny.

Oh, so because I'm a conservative black dude, I don't count, huh?

Or are you saying I answered out of turn?

If someone treats me poorly, I think their an a-hole. If I'm black and the same white guy treats me poorly is that racism?

How do you discern if you are being treated just the same as white folks and the guy is just an a-hole?

You usually don't. But there are some situations that would make a reasonable person wonder.

My thoughts are this, if you leave your house each morning with an attitude that white people are racist, you will find exactly that.

Just like a white person that thinks all blacks are thugs.

I am old enough to remember when racism was legal!

There is nothing going on today that comes close to the 1950's.

Separate facilities: schools, churches, restaurants, neighborhoods.

"White only/colored only" signs.

Blacks rode in the back of the bus and sat in the back of the theater.

Some people should not be caught in certain sections of town after dark.

All I see now is people wanting more free stuff.

Am I a racist for this?

I hate n-words but I love black people. Well spoken upper-class black people are some of the coolest people but I really hate n-words. I think there's a difference. Thugs are n-words.

I would bet that almost all of you would agree with me here, huh?

Good stuff

But the OP posing that question to this board was like frontline asking Clayton Bigsby about his views on race relations.

I work with a pretty diverse youngish group. 99.9% of the racist claims are someone just being an arse and the other .10% are miscommunication.

I don't know what this giant wall of text is but:

Only a tiny fraction of perceived racism is "real" black-hating shite. The rest is just bullshite.

Truth.

This coming from a hardcore Obama supporter.

If you think racism, real or fake, is why dems are winning, you are wrong.

Everyone is wrong. The actual percent of racism that is actually racism is 100%.

Anything that is racist must by definition be racist.

Now I bet there is a whole lot of crap people attribute to racism that isn't actually racism. But that is a whole different subject!

100% of BLM's actions are disgustingly racist.

In general, blacks are the most racist folks out there. They'll openly make fun of another race and won't have to worry about any repercussions. Latinos are also pretty racist but less open about it.

So since racisim used to be worse. That means racist things that happened now aren't racist at all. So if a white person doesn't want to hire a guy that's qualified for a job because he's black isn't racist, because in the 1950's he wouldnt even be let into the building.

On my last State government job as a computer analyst, I supervised 13 people, 12 of whom were black.
