antoher thing to keep in mind is that acts plyaing in big/well known CFB stadiums is definitely not the norm, and I guarantee you there is a segment of poeple that would go to any such concert simply for the novelty. A couple years back Sanford stadium hosted its first ever concert I think it was jason aldean and someone else. It was of course packed. There really are tons of peopple that would fill TS.

Baton Rouge and Louisiana should leverage that and try to fill up Tiger Stadium with a major act in the spring. BCS was a pretty solid setup, and helped keep the hotels and restaurants busy outside football season.

If they are smart, they can schedule it on a weekend when there aren't LSU baseball or other events.

Pretty sure she was a BCS headline a while back at Tiger Stadium. She's only gotten more popular too.

It was the night before, but separate, or something like that. Different tickets.

love his music but he's aggravating as hell with all his fake mannerisms and shite.

Are you saying an entertainer has choreographed moves and scripted speeches? I hope he's the only one. You've looked behind the curtain and are going to blow this whole entertainment industry wide open, I tell you.

I can't believe people 100,000 people in Louisiana have nothing better to do than watch a fat, past his prime Biden supporter. Keep his arse in Louisiana. We here in Oklahoma don't want him here.

I would go see Taylor if she ever came back to Tiger Stadium, and not even for the novelty. She writes bangers, don't @ me

TS in TS, they need to hire me for marketing

Honestly the 200 I paid is worth it just to hear his version of the Black Lives Matter song

A lot of triggered snowflakes up in here.

All I did was ask a question. I made no statement on the merits-good or bad-of the performers mentioned in OP.

If Pink Floyd played Tiger Stadium, I'd show up.

Flame suit on. Garth Brooks is probably the all time most overrated performer ever!

I assume all this buzz is unique to Baton Rouge because of the song right?

Garth was obviously an elite name 10 years ago. I remember when he announced his initial run/return (7-10 years ago?) and the interest was massive. But then they added a bunch of shows at each venue and we ended up going in Atlanta for like 8 bucks after some people spent thousands for the first show and the initial resale. He's only gotten more oversaturated since then, I know he's done a ton of corporate shows/appearances in recent years.

No. He's been selling out stadiums all tour. He sold out two nights in Nashville in the Titans' stadium.

I was legitimately bummed as a teenager to learn via concert bootlegs that James Hetfield said the same stuff between songs at every single show on a Metallica world tour.

Fair enough, based on the chatter I thought tickets were going for high dollar, but I see they're pretty cheap really. I assumed tickets were starting in the hundreds for the Baton Rouge show.
