Four wheeler wreck. Let the wife drive...next thing I knew, I had 18 staples in my scalp. Knocked my arse out for 10-15 minutes. Total amnesia for the next 8-9 hours. Took about a year to really get over. Still get headaches and have problems with focus and concentration sometimes. Not bad, but still there. No other injuries.

No...it was a partial tear where the pectoral inserts into the armpit. When my arms hang down you can tell somewhat that both pecs aren't symmetrical anymore.

Was hit in the head by a pickaxe when I was 9. Doc said a millimeter of movement in any direction, any kind of twisting, anything other than the exact way it hit me. I would have died. As it was, I only needed stitches.
Destroyed my shoulder a few years ago, torn labrum, partially torn rotator cuff, tore part of the capsule, and had several bone spurs taken out.

2004 Motorcycle accident , 18 different Hospital stays and over 50 surgeries. I have a arm and leg with many ,screws ,plates and rods. Was in Critical care for 2 weeks at Mid city Baton Rouge general. They saved my life.

Tore every ligament in my thumb and broke the thumb in several places. Had to have a plate + screws put into my hand and a nice 3 inch scar on my hand now

Sounds like it may be the same I have.
To answer the OP, I've torn both Achilles' tendons. One playing softball, the other doing a boot camp type class workout doing a shuttle run.
Thankfully, neither AT injury was very painful b/c the adrenaline was already pumping.
