i have 2
my brother in law who died in a car accident at age 28. My wifes only sibling, it was really hard.
The other was a good friend of the family. It was his wifes bday, he told her he wanted to stay home in bed with her. She said naw go on to work, its the last work day before christmas holidays "he was a school principal". He got ready and went to work.... car swerved into his lane head on killing him that day. Left behind s 13 year old and 16 year old as well as his wife. She blamed herself because she convinced him to go on into work. i was on vacation in Tennessee when i got the call. We came home early, just couodnt enjoy it. Was a terrible holiday season for everyone who knew them. Just tragic

Funeral last March for my coworker's children that were killed in a car accident. Her 3 oldest killed (12, 9, and 8) as were their grandmother and pregnant aunt(aunt only 21 years old and 20 weeks pregnant)They had one huge funeral for everyone. Pictures of them over their caskets....including a sonogram picture of the baby the aunt had been pregnant with.
Jesus Christ. That's horrible.
Why did I even click on this thread?

Funeral for one of my college roommates - he and his three small children. They were killed in a car accident in Houston. I was a pallbearer, carrying one of those little coffins. It was heartwrenching. The children were ages 4, 6 and 11. His wife watched them all die.

My uncles funeral who passed this year.
The military was a huge part of his life, and I joined to follow him.
He wanted to be buried in his service dress though, but his jacket didn't fit him any longer. I had to fly in for it, so didn't realize it, but they didn't get it altered so he could wear it.
Would have moved heaven and earth to ensure he could have, but alas it didn't work out.
That's the saddest part to me, something so simple as your last request for your life, and couldn't even make it work out
