Looked at some the other day. Seemed pricey for what they are.

I wear one every day and rarely take it off. Gets beat up pretty good and still ticks.

Luminox aren't really that pricey in the watch world.

Swiss movement with markers that illuminate without charging in light.

Of all my watches my old Lumi on a nato band is probably the most comfortable.

That is why I included "for what they are."

You want a Marathon.

Honestly if I were in the market for that type of watch I would get a tritium Marathon for just a bit more money.

Not to knock Luminox though. Hard to get anything decent from Switzerland for much less.

I've been trying to get a Chase Durer Special Forces 1000 XL UDT for awhile now.

Been having one for almost 10
Years maybe.

Unfortunately I damaged the face and don't wear it anymore.

ETA again I should get with broke and see what my options are...even though we couldn't resurrect my tv remote control watch.

If I am going Tritium I am going with Ball Watch, but that is really a different market.

I bought one off Amazon two years ago. Has a sapphire glass face. I've worn it pretty much every day since. I love it.

That being said I don't think I'd pay full price $600 for it.

I have a $200 Victorinox Swiss Army that has been through some hard labor, and hasn't faltered once. It isn't as thick as the Luminox watches, and that's why I got it

Does a luminox watch tell better time than my Timex Ironman does?
