Those people don't understand nor do they care how many hours you put in and the sacrifices you made, to obtain what you have.

I think people believe that it's easy to kill someone and just go on with your life as if it never happened. I think the bigger question is; what is worth more, your stuff at that time or your mental and emotional state 10 years later

I'm sure killing someone would take an emotional toll. But an even bigger emotional toll would be allowing a criminal to hurt one of my children and I didn't stop them. Are they after my stuff? Are they breaking into my house to try to hurt a member of my family? Do I really want to find out one way or the other? I hope I never have to deal with it.

It's not about "the stuff", it's about their intent to possibly kill you to get it.

"frick around and find out" was created thanks to thieving scum.

It inevitably happens when a lawbreaker is killed by the Police or by intended victim during the commission of a crime.

It depends on the circumstances I guess, but generally speaking I value my possessions more than I do criminals. Do I think criminals deserve to die for stealing? Maybe, maybe not. But I do know that if someone ever breaks into my home to steal anything and I catch them doing it, I will do everything in my power to make sure that they don't leave alive. Once you violate someone's home like that, all bets are off.

And I'm not even pretending to be billy badass, but in my mind if someone is illegally entering into my house one of us is dying, and I will do anything I can to make sure it's not me. So in that scenario, I value me and mine FAR more than the criminal trying to invade upon that.

Progressives make these comments.

They also want swift punishment for those who use wrongthink or for those who refuse to use the right pronouns. Their rationale is that language can be an act of physical violence.

But physical violence should have leniency when it’s actually physical.

If my dogs don't get him first I will be emptying the nearest mag into him to protect my family.

No brainer

Eta the furthest thing from hammertime's knuckles and may feel emotional afterwards but there's no debate my family comes first always.

Absolutely. Anyone breaking into another house is likely to be armed and likely to commit violence.

If you don't protect your "stuff" or punish criminals for stealing, are you going to get more or less theft?

This isn't rocket science.

I won't shoot to protect someone stealing my shite outside. But I will confront them and shoot if I feel I am in danger. if they break into my home, game on.

In all honestly, I don't even care if they are armed or what their intentions are. You violate my home and enter into it, that switch is flipping inside of me, and I am not interested in trying to determine any information or decipher your intentions.

I hope I never have to deal with anything like that, but I am confident that I won't hesitate to protect my family if push comes to shove.

When a person decides to break the rules of society, they devalue their own life. How much? I dont know. But criminal behavior can eventually make you more valuable, to the rest of us, dead more than alive.

It is a decision the law breaker makes.

My stuff. A criminal officially gives up his right to live when he breaks into my house.
