better watch in the same style

Look into the pathfinders. I like them better than the G-shocks personally

To me the best part about them is the water resistance and durability. That makes them great for me on days that I have to do field work and will sweat a lot and also great for fishing, camping and other outdoor activities.

And I know there are other options for that but the g shock is relatively cheap and has a ton of models.

What all does this watch do that a normal watch does not do?? I am really curious. Like I said earlier I would find a stopwatch useful but I honestly don't know what other features these types of watches offer.

Wearing my Suunto Core today. It has a very accurate compass and altimeter. Here is what the website says:

The award-winning Suunto Core comes in a range of stylish design options, packing easy to use outdoor functionalities in a robust construction. Combining altimeter, barometer and a compass with weather information, the Core provides the essential features for adventures in the great outdoors. Designed to bring out the explorer in you.

I have the all black one and people comment on it all the time.

I have this one. It's a little large but the band is titanium so it's light and tough.
