False. South Monroe and Richwood flooded yet no looting.

Rain wasn't the problem with Katrina. Tidal surge and then wind blown water after the storm flooded the city after the storm. NO would have been fine with just the rain.

This is possibly the most ignorant post I have ever seen.

True.

False. A faulty levee system built by the Federal Government and "maintained" by local Levee Boards is the reason 80% of the city flooded. Only people outside of the protection system would have been affected by Katrina. Besides roof damage or trees down.

There is no NLA. LA ends at I-10.

Why I jump for joy when every HS recruit North of 10 that L5U wants signs with another team. Even better if it's Bama....

This

After looking at those walls and seeing that design I don't see how they thought that was a good idea. I did the layout for the replacement wall in the lower ninth ward

That's not South versus North. It's city versus country.

Our tiny two day flood vs a city being under water for 3 weeks.

Again, I say this often in these threads. My prayers go out to anyone dealing with the crap that these floods have caused. It is a horrible feeling.
Anyone that feels the need to compare disasters and make your veiled racist comments about city vs country or "demographic" comparisons can catch a nasty rash on their balls for all I care.

The ghetto post made me laugh. Metairie Club Gardens was inundated. Just the richest neighborhood in the state.

Man all you baws claiming that LA ends at I-10 do realize that the oldest city in LA was founded at a place that is WELL north of I-10, right?

In any case, who gives a shite? Many LOUISIANIANS were affected by the flooding in the past week.

It's North Louisiana, so don't care really.

North La folks take a lot of pride being from La. It's one of the few States I've seen to where people in one part of the State (South) have such an attitude

And it sucks. I hope everyone had flood insurance. I've been through it. It is really a heartbreaking experience.
