It means practicing religion free from gov't interference.

It also means that the gov't cannot pick which religion to endorse and carry out religious activities on the public dime and time.

churches should be taxed like corporations.

Violates the first amendment and establishment clause.

If you want to keep religion out of gov't, you need to keep gov't out of religion.

But by all means go ahead and tax them if you want religion to have an even bigger role in politics, I'm pretty sure that road wouldn't work out how you would like it.

It means freedom to practice whatever you choose without any intervention from the government, IMO.

Getting a little deeper (probably an unpopular opinion here), I think it should also constitute a lack of "promotion" of any certain religious belief or lack thereof. There shouldn't be "under God" in the pledge, or on money. There shouldn't be prayer times in school. These things promote CHRISTIANITY, which goes directly against separation of church and state. (ETA: language clarification here. When I say prayer times, I mean like what happened in those Mississippi schools where school leaders were leading prayers in public schools based on Christianity. I am aware other religions pray; I am a proponent of "moment of silence" to allow people of whatever faith to do their own thing).

No specific religious practice or lack thereof should be sponsored in any way by any government organizations or property. We need to encourage young people to think for themselves instead of pushing any certain belief as "normal"

It means we should have prayer in schools and teach creationism as fact.

you mean the founding fathers that said we have inalienable rights endowed by our creator and authored separation of church and state wanted nothing to do with faith. Take another look at the documents that founded this country and think of this position more.
