No. It is implying people should appreciate good fathers who do not wear suits for their jobs.

is there some kind of widespread vitriol against them that I'm not aware of?

Or do they need a pat on the back for doing their job?

One day we'll have to tell them that the huge majority of white collar dads don't wear suits either.

Some wife made that because her husband has a shitty job and she wanted to make herself feel better.

Yeah, both my parents have always worked blue collar jobs, mom is a UPS driver and father is a machinist. I saw how hard they worked growing up and made a more than comfortable living. They made sure my sister and I went to school and I will always be thankful for that. Cant wait till they can retire in a couple years.

I'm thankful for the moms that don't wear anything to work.

It is worded extremely poorly but I think they are actually trying to say that not all dads who work hard wear suits to work. Either way it is a fricking pointless picture.

If you don't wear steel toed boots to work, then I guess you can be a "parent" but you'll never be a father.

One of the only reasons that job is worth doing, lord knows I wouldnt want to lift heavy crap 10+ hours day in 90 degree heat and freezing temps without getting paid nicely

that's right, there was a time that UPS farmed out their flying to O'Ryan(sp?) Air and the UPS truck drivers made more than 747 Captains, things have changed a bit though
