Used to go for a long run, now either cut grass, or take the boat out.

Greengirl posted an excellent square breathing link previously Square Breathing

TM is a meditation technique. My parents had a guru type person, a disciple of the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi come live with us for a while in the spring of my eighth year.

We were instructed in the techniques and I have used them my whole life. TM Q&A

I thought everybody did this.

I love playing golf by myself, but especially when I am stressed about something and just need to calm down and relax. Focusing on my golf game is great at helping me do that.

I clean. Like some in depth deep cleaning if the house. Start with laundry. Sort it all, put in a load. The do the dishes and clean the kitchen. But the bathroom is where it all starts to ease me. I get pretty focused when scrubbing the toilet, sink, and tub. It usually makes me forget what is bothering me because I get so wrapped up in doing a good job. By the end of all of these chores, I feel good because I accomplished something and have visual progress. Plus it's nice to shower in a clean tub, shite in a clean toilet, and brush my teeth in a clean sink. It makes the personal hygiene feel better knowing that I'm not bathing myself in a germ pit.

Playing guitar is my #1 stress reliever. Besides that:
-Gym time.
-Go for a walk.
-Get immersed into a video game. That will take my mind off of anything going on in my life.
