What Can I Do With Old Cell Phones

I have several old cell phones laying around that I will never use again. Most are phones like old analog flip phones and that kind of thing that were work phones that they told me to keep when I upgraded. Is there anything constructive that I can do with these? If not, they will be in the trash tomorrow morning....

Sell them to drug dealers, and then when the cops come looking for you, narc them out for some reward money.
Win/Win.

Use them as remote detonators for electronic matches. Setting off fireworks by dialing a number on your phone is the closest most of us will get to being James Bond.

Do any of them have keypads with black numbers on either silver or white keys? I ask because my 80 yo mother lost her ancient phone and has complained constantly about not being able to read the numbers on any of the 4 flip phones I have purchased for her over the last 6 months.
Apparently, they are not making cell phones that she can read any longer. If it works on ATT I would be willing to buy one from you.

no, none are of that color scheme...and have relatively small numerals on them, so they probably wouldn't work for her.
I do have a guy at work who has the same problem, though and he has recently purchased a phone from consumercellular.com called the doro phone...
this is gonna make you cringe, but your other option may be something like an iphone with large, backlit numerals...

Thanks for the reply and the link.
All those phones have white lettering with black keys that she can't read well.

Trebuchets are pretty easy to design and make. You can get the wood and other materials for less than a hundred bucks (assuming you have you have your own tools like you should). After you build it you can launch them anywhere, the river, a spurned lover's driveway, just not the airport they take that shite seriously since nine eleven.

Destructive: used for remote controlled Ied
Constructive: I'd suggest giving them to deployed soldiers or less needy people

Sell them in a garage sale. You'd be surprised what people buy.
Or donate to a battered women's shelter.
