The time my FIL told me he "tried" pot
was kind of awkward.
Not really something you expect.

Great attention to detail.

I'm really struggling to understand what's awkward about this.

Is pot code word for killing someone in this story?

I joked to my ex’s family that the click it or ticket law shouldn’t exist, to let Darwinism do its work. Ex’s father’s parents died in a single car accident because they weren’t wearing seatbelts. Things got awkward for me real fast.

Also got to sit and listen to them debate a bunch of racist shite about a minority group before reminding them that my sister-in-law is of that minority group. Things got awkward for them real fast that time.

Every time I watch a baseball game with my father-in-law he comments that he thinks that players who's last names he can't pronounce shouldn't be allowed to play in the MLB. Every time I point out that most people have trouble pronouncing his last name.

True story from Florida no less.

Friend had been married for a few years. No kids. In-laws kept asking when daughter and my friend were going to have kids. Big mistake.

At dinner one night, in-laws popped question once again. Friend proceeded to tell in-laws that they would have to wait a little longer since their daughter enjoyed anal so much.

Why not? I just assume everyone has at least tried it until I hear them say "I have never even once tried it".

My MIL is batshit crazy

Lots of anti-Trump conspiracies

But the most awkward was when she admitting to smoking weed with my SIL who bought it from a legal dispensary. Apparently it had a very "high" THC level causing her to feel/act like she was having a stroke
