I've lived in or around NOLA all my life except the 4 years I spent at LSU. I find boiled seafood to be extremely overrated, and I don't understand how or why people get so excited about it.

I'll say that fried seafood is incredibly overrated, unless you're 12

I really do want Tulane to do well in sports, but their butthurt fans, many of whom are my friends, are just intolerable! So I get a kick out of it every time their sports teams get embarrased, time and again.

Yep.

And I prefer watching the games by myself, or with only one or two close friends who know what's what.

My wife thinks she is the biggest football fan and loves watching the games with me. She drives me insane! - but quietly, on the inside.

Don't tell her.

Seriously, don't tell her! It would crush her little heart.

Sorry, net. I'll admit, I'm definitely in the 1% or less of New Orleanians that feel that way. I'm definitely the weird one.

To be fair it's adequate representation of NFL fans in general.

I find it interesting that even though you can get to any good neighborhood in the city within 15 minutes, nobody wants to leave wherever they are at due to distance.

If we were all transplanted to Houston I'd never see my friends

That is true. "Oh you moved all the way out to Kenner or Challmette? (each like fifteen minutes from any spot in the city) Man that's a drive."

My friends moved to Old Jefferson and it's like a chore to go out there.

I finally got to try it a few weeks ago. I like the bread they use, different than most.
Neat little place you almost don't notice it there.

Exactly. There isn't a deep fryer in the place. Just pots of lard that each different item gets fried separately. Fish, oysters, shrimp, soft shell crabs and fries all get fried in their own pots. No comingling of flavors.

Done 3-7 lines of cocaine on a strippers tits then hit it from behind upstairs in the Gold Clubs VIP area. My buddy was down stairs watching me because I made her open the curtain so he could see...this was the year the Saints players got busted by the FBI for doing the same. Take that bitches!
