You know, I was in the Yeti is overhyped trash crowd, but I was given one, and it worked like a motherfricker. I now own several and they do the job and are pretty hardy. Don't get me wrong, I have cheap knock-off versions, too, but to me the difference is noticeable.
How about blue jeans? You can buy a pair of Levi's at a department store for $50 or more, or you can buy a pair at WMT for under $20, and they seem pretty similar to me. I'd rather buy 2 pairs and have one that doesn't get fricked up.
