Anyone have any tips on improving rhythm?
Place a second ball about 3-4 feet directly behind your tee at set up. When you take away you should knock the second ball straight back. If you miss the ball you're breaking to early. And yes breaking too early feeds into rhythm. The focus of trying to take away methodically enough to knock back the second ball will cause you to have better tempo in the whole swing.

My hook, slice, putting and driving. Also swing technique.

Then I got the shanks with my Lob - Gap wedges.
You're probably trying to hit your wedges too hard, changing your swing plane and coming down with the hosel. Just swing smooth and notice the difference.

My fist pump and other various celebrations.

I need to focus on keeping the face closed on my drive. And my short game needs some serious work.

I'm trying to slow down my backswing and improve my rhythm overall. I tend to get super quick going back.
Exact same situation here.
Played Saturday morning and really struck the ball well. Maybe the best I've ever felt about the way I played when leaving the course.
Will probably go out next time and top the ball all over the place.

Short game. Fricking blows lately.
Need to work and creating lag better too.

Most likely you are not leading with the hands. Too much wrist action from trying to spin the ball will start shanks. Practice with the ball out near the toe, you cannot get handsy if you do this. The club needs to be leaning forward with the face open at impact.

Holing more midrange putts. My speed is good and I'm almost automatic from 5 and in, but I don't feel like I make my fair share of 8-15 footers
I'd like to get "optimized" with a driver too. I think a different shaft could get me a little more yardage.

I've been going with the Shooter Mcgavin in 2016.

This is a big one for me.
You have to lag to go nitro, but how??

Still trying to figure that one out.
Watching lots of videos and trying to play more often here... Problem is, there isn't a reliable range around anymore. Pickles is killing my game! Haha

Torque is something you're born with.
You either have it, or you don't.
Touch is somethin you have to work at.
This last weekend I had numerous drives over 300 that split the fairway, one measured at 325 yds, another at 340 yds. Daisy cutter class.

Is it gone for good?
I think lag comes from the transition from backswing to downswing with tension free arms. Only way to get good lag is with a really pivot of the body.
Almost all of the pros have a perfect pivot.

My game is never getting better, so I'm going to try and walk more to at least get in an exercise that isn't futile.

I don't know if she's closed for good... Last few times I've gone it's fenced off with the typical "wet... Sorry" sign. Even when it hasn't rained recently. Havnt gotten a response on the phone either.
I hope she hasn't closed, but it seemed like they were struggling. Rained today, so I'll have to wait a while now to check again.
Just need to translate this and other techniques I've read to actual results.
