Facebook = brag-a-thon. Look at my new car, look at my new job, look where we go on vacation.

all of this

not my Facebook friends, but nothing screams "it's important to me to be viewed as compassionate and caring by strangers on the internet" louder than posting shite like "praying" or "prayers" on KATC/KLFY/WBRZ/WWL etc. pages

eta: also, those stupid arse quizzes (Which one of your friends would you most likely get arrested with?!) can die in a fire too.

eta 2: Put this on your status for one hour if you love your brother! Share this post if you think cancer sucks!

Reposting political memes without any original content. If you write a post with your own thoughts, I'll read it, even if I disagree with it. If you repost something and add your own take to it, I'll even read that. But if you just share some lame meme, I'm skipping right over it.

How about the people who post "If you're voting for so and so, I'm deleting you"

After a short while of this shite ^^^ or posting BS chain email type of stuff, they are getting deleted with the quickness.

Half of my old redneck classmates have been deleted as well as a lot of old people in my family. I don't play well with stupid.

Prayer request, especially "unspoken prayer request please" meaning I will at least wait till the morning to post whatever drama I have going on.

And then the people comment like they are straight from the pulpit at a Pentocost Sunday service, "sending prayers your way, In the name of Jesus lord I pray by his almighty hand and his sacred blood that you are healed"

I sometimes say "pew pew sending electronic prayer thoughts! Pew pew pew!"

You can change your settings so you don't get game requests. So nice to not see that shite anymore. Don't remember how I did it. Google it.

thought it was a hoax at first but saw this on Good Morning America and the news so I'll share the post for a cut....THANK YOU, MARK ZUCKERBERG, for your forward-thinking generosity! And congrats on becoming a dad!Mark Zuckerberg has announced that he is giving away $45 billion of Facebook stock. What you may not have heard is that he plans to give 10% of it away to people like YOU and ME! All you have to do is copy and paste this message into a post IMMEDIATELY. At midnight PST, Facebook will search through the day's posts and award 1000 people with $4.5 million EACH as a way of saying thank you for making Facebook such a powerful vehicle for connection

I unfollow people who regularly post things of no interest to me. I follow more restaurants, chefs, recipe pages, LSU and other sports related pages. I don't read political or religious posts. There's only one poster who posts all day long about everything she does or that her family does. Every single move. Every illness, car trouble etc... I just don't think I know anyone, not even my parents, who are interested in my every move.

People who post vague references to wrongs perpetrated against them or their children. IE "how can people be so mean, little Braxleigh has been crying in her room for hours. #sadmama #madmama #dontmesswithmamabearsbabies
And worse, are the people that validate this crap with responses like "how could anybody be mean to precious Braxleigh - my Jaedeynn just loves her #sweetgirl #doctorscanfixthatlazyeye
It goes on and on. Hopefully the unnamed offender will jump in to defend her/himself and a facebook fight breaks out.

The one trick ponies get old.

I have a friend who literally only posts crossfit videos. I have two other friends that post absolutely nothing but pro-cop stories or stories about cops getting injured or about criminals being heroically stopped by cops.

Or the ones that post memes from "ConservativesAreStupid.org" and "LibsAreSick.org" with obviously fake information.

Nearly 60% of Americans use FB, less than 1% of TD users use FB, crazy.
