Asking prayers for a loved one is alright. It's all the religous memes that aggravate me

Throwing their spouse under the bus. Like that will help the marriage.

I know a girl that posts videos of her lifting for her crossfit workouts

Every chick that I've seen do this cheats on their husband. Fat chick gets fit and dumps her husband and ends up with crossfit buddy. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

share obviously fake news stories

Have an aunt who shared a story a few days ago about pot overdoses in Colorado. That should tell you enough.

The only reason I have FB is to keep up with my nieces & nephews. The pictures are fine with me. The videos are even better.

politics

That's easy enough to minimize. Most political spam isn't even an original thought. It's someone regurgitating a Faux Noise or BSNBC article or some meme from a hack Facebook page. I've knocked that crap out little by little. I just click the arrow and choose "Hide all from Being Liberal" or whatever the source is. I do that each time I see a regurgitated post from one of those sources, and I almost never see one anymore.

Now my news feed is what's happening in people's lives which is the point of having a news feed. Makes it easier to keep up with people you don't see on a daily basis.

I was taught to be humble in my beliefs, but the level of religious material posted on a daily basis, in many instances, comes across with an air of superiority.
