I've known some schools to have an intramural flag football league. Didn't have it at my school, but doesn't seem like it would be too uncommon.

I know its probably self explanatory but I've never heard of this in my life.

yeah it was a lot of fun actually. Different cliques had teams and funny names like Victorious Secret, Question Mark, Cool Ranch, or Dat Pass. The white dudes soccer team would have a team, the black kids on the track team, the latin club and even the Asian math club kids. And the championship game would be during school where kids got out of class. Most school spirit that place would ever have.
