I did homework for Alexander, our class bully, in exchange for protection from those Dartmouth bound schlepps.

I think that qualifies as being bullied on two levels.

That depends on how you define bullying.

Was I ever teased as kid? Absolutely. I'm certain everyone has been teased at some point.

Did anyone ever beat me up and steal my lunch money? Nope. I have always looked young for my age, so I could have been a target, but I had enough personality that I was able to avoid becoming a target.

That's great. That's also specific to you and your mindset. Not everyone walks around knowing how to handle being treated like shite like you do

Of course. Everyone has. Unfortunately, some get it worse than others. While excessive bullying isnt good, todays kids are too sheltered. Parents and liberals cant protect children from life. Life is the biggest bully around! If kids dont learn to deal with being pushed, treated unfairly, spurned... they are going to have a tough time. Its the reason these kids are so soft today.

Yep, eighth grade. Tall skinny guy kept pushing me and bullying me. He pushed me hard against the wall. I had enough. I told him.....follow me. We had it out in the school yard. I recall I was able to deliver a couple good punches......enough to redden the right side of his face. Then the principal came out and separated us. Later that day Principal made us hug before assembly. I didn't care. He left me alone from then on. Sometimes..........

Fast forward 20 years and I meet this guy again. Geez the guy is about 6'5" and I'm sure a good 275 lbs. I was a runt back them......about average size now. We laughed about the incident.

Made sure we left friends. Never saw him again.

Sure was, then I hit puberty and punched the a-hole in the mouth while he was spouting off. No more problems

I’m short, so yes. And I say that shite, within reason, builds character. Tell your kid to shite talk back and if they start something, finish it.

I am convinced that girls have it much worse. Some of them are vicious to each other even as adults.
