One of the main reasons we get season passes every year is because of the concerts. They have good concerts (Chris Daughtry, Cheap Trick, etc). There are usually about 1000+ people at these concerts, some even more, but tonight, Village People were in concert and there was maybe 100 people. The park was dead.

It was a great concert. There are three of the original six members still left (lead singer looks like Darius Rucker)

It was a sad sight.

Was it because of the queer factor?

Mostly families and young kids (of the people there).

Wow. That may be the saddest thing I've ever read. The bands you listed are actually acts you think are worth seeing?

If you hurry, you can correct your subject line before anyone notices. It's affecting, not effecting.

Maybe it was because nobody wanted to be seen at a Villiage People concert.

Maybe it was only 100 people because it was the fricking Village People.

Cheap Trick - Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
Chris Daughtry - just good music
Village People - just a fun group to see
Fifth Harmony - (before they made it "big"
DNCE - before they get bigger
Rachel Platten
Kelly Pickler
Panic at the Disco (busiest concert they ever had, 5000+ people)

They have good bands, I am not talking mega-bands, but groups everyone know of, bands before they hit it big

Affecting definition - "touching the emotions; moving."

Effecting definition - "cause (something) to happen; bring about."

BLM effecting (causing) the concert to be dead

Affect, part of affection, emotional

Effect, part of cause and effect, making something happen

I've always used affect as a verb and effect as a noun.

Affect or effect

So according to that link, either is correct, just that "effecting" is not as common. It is used more as a noun

No, affect is correct in this case, and effect is incorrect. Effect is only used as a verb when it can be replaced with the phrase 'bring about'. For example, 'effecting change' is the same as 'bringing about change'. BLM did not bring about 'it' (the concert), BLM affected it.
