this is a female we're talking about, so there's about 50 other battles I haven't even brought up and just internalized.

How stupid!

Yeah, how stupid of me for trying to teach someone a life skill that shoudl have been taught at age 6 or so.

I was in no way demeaning or rude. I was as delicate as I possibly could have been.

Is she great otherwise? Ok. Who cares.

Yes she is, I plan to marry her one day. But it drives me crazy being with a grown adult woman who holds a fork like a baby.

Good for you. We should all handle "criticism" if you will, with grace. My mother also holds utensils like a caveman. It is embarrassing. Your girl's reaction says she is young and shallow. She may grow out of this. But, tell her most Southern girls went to "Finishing School" and learned how to fricking eat like a lady.

Dump her. You can pay hookers to hold utensils correctly.

I am 62 and have got two marriages and a bunch of girlfriends under my belt, life is too short for this kind of non-sense, change your door locks and phone number.

You played this wrong. You have to do it passive aggressively. Start doIng other daily tasks in an odd way and wait for her to say something then hit her with "well you hold your fork like an infant"

Why did you start the conversation this way? It makes her feel like you are embarrassed to be seen in public with her.
You could have easily gone about this a different way.

You embarrassed her. Might as well or told asked her if she was raised by savages

For real though, you'll have to ride this storm out she'll find a trait to tear you down with soon to balance y'all out ...good luck!

He is embarrassed.

I'm shocked it took a year to say something.

You dumb arse. You should have signed up for a dinner etiquette class and asked her to join you for support.

I'm trying to picture a good looking chick holding her fork like a toddler and I can't even imagine it for some reason.

I keeps seeing fat and ugly chicks.

I have some type of mental override that prevents me from picturing hot chicks doing something like this I guess.

Does her name end in a y or I? Because it sounds like her name ends in a y or an I
