Here's a lesson I learned with my Weber: put it together yourself. The kid at Lowe's (or wherever) will not take the same care. I had to tear mine apart because it kept catching on fire due to loose propane lines.

This. When they offered to put mine together I said hell yeah. After cooking on it a couple times I noticed the propane hose was smashed between the bottom of the grill and the stand. Obviously the grill gets very hot. The hose was almost melted through. Could have been ugly.

That is Weber's name for the inverted v-shaped steel bars that keep juices from dripping into the burners.

Pay $50 more for either and get it at true value hardware because the same models have stainless flavorizers and stainless grates which will last you way longer than the enamel cast iron grates.

Did you screw up and buy the non SS version?

Real men cook with charcoal. Grab your tampons and head back to Arlen Texas.

Actually we have a weber genesis at out hunting camp. It is a great grill and we got the adaptor kit so it hooks up to the camps propane line, but we have the ceramic grates. Did we f**k up?

I have the ep330. The extra burner is worth it. Last grill has cast iron and went to shitm so have the stainless grates now. Will probably end up selling it though since I almost use the kamado Joe exclusively.

Or you could get one of these bad boys for around $600, made of 11 gauge steel. These are the charcoal grills. I know they have propane ones instead of charcoal, but not sure of the price. They are made in America too.
