Hydrogen Peroxide. It'll crackle in your ear and tickle, but should help loosen up the wax build up. Then you can flush your ear with warm water.

I think you're 100% wrong. Stick that Q-tip as far as you can. If you feel resistance, push harder and work it through your ear drum. You have to get all the way to the Eustachian tube to really clean it out.

This is just false.

If it indeed is wax then you can flush it out. I woke up with my ear clogged a couple of weeks ago. It was pretty bad, I couldn't hear shite for like 3 days.

Finally went and got this syringe deal at Walgreens made for clogged ears.

Dropped some hydrogen peroxide in my ear for a minute or so to loosen up the wax and shot warm water with the syringe. It took quite a few tries, and you really have to spray with some force, but it completely flushed everything out. I was pretty disgusted with how dirty my ear was.

It worked like a charm though.

Need a little luck and tools. I could not flush mine. I have syringes and IV catheters. Nothing. And if the OP has already put a q-tip up there he may have impacted the wax to the tube walls and eardrum.

If you frick up and tear the eardrum you may get dirty fluid back where it doesn't belong. Could cause infection and vertigo.

Need luck, tools, and patience. I lacked luck I guess. I've flushed many a roach out of patients ears. If you've made a lot of wax it makes everything more difficult.

Don't let it sit too long, you'll get an infection.

Yep. You can buy a bulb thing at Walgreens to shoot warm water up at a high pressure...you'll be grossed out when it starts coming out

Rubbing alcohol or stick your finger over the opening and create an air tight seal. Push in and out like a toilet plunger with your head tilted. It will help break the surface tension of the water an let it drain. I get this every time I swim and swim 3 days a week while having to go to the office after. I never have rubbing alcohol, so the other trick is something I had to learn.

Go get one of those Murine swimmers ear kits at the drug store and use it. Make sure you use pretty warm water and don't be afraid to squirt that water up in there pretty good.

I had it happen to me once and I was a little timid with how hard I was squirting water up there. After about a week I didn't give a frick if I blew my brains out with the water and I got it fixed then.

One of the best feelings in the world.

What Chucker said. I had tried everything else. The doctor told me to use the bulb thing.
