I oversprayed the orange peel texture on my wall and after painting it left thick blobs. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks

Burn down the house, change your name, and move to another state.

Or try the suggestion in the first reply.

Cover it with shiplap or a barn door.

Is your wife home? Has she seen it yet?

What I wanna to is put a note on your wife's door, telling her I'm the counselor from the school.

The note will inform her that a problem has come up and she need to see me right-away, back at my office.

Your wife will drive all the way out to the school and discover that no meeting is actually taking place.

And while she's gone, we're gonna smear all your walls with poop.

depends. In some cases, a light sanding will do the trick and then you can paint it.

In more severe cases, like everyone else is saying, sand and respray. Been there, done that. Good luck.

Or call Chip and Jo and let them redesign the entire house.

Get a super rough roller and go for the heavy rough look.

Thanks for the advice. What type of method did y'all use to put up the texture? I have one of those guns with the compressor built into it, but not really liking the results. What do you guys use for this process?

"Honey, are you sure you dont want to hire proffesionals?"

"No, no. I've got this, before you know it we'll practically be living in an orange"

3 hours later

"Honey, Im sorry, but that looks like shite"

"It's fine I'm asking tigerdroppings how to fix it right now"

"That sports website?"

"Yeah"

"I want a divorce"
