Businesses and political positions - RoosterCogburn585
Whether they be Republican or Democrat views, when did it start making good business sense to alienate half of your customer base by going out of your way to state your companies political views? I know if I ran a business, I would want to appeal to as many potential customers as possible. ...

Alpina Watches - RoosterCogburn585
Question for watch experts of the OT. I recently purchased an Alpina Chronograph and have been really liking it. Over the last week or so though, it has started to develop a weird problem. Sometimes when I put it on the top of the crystal will fog up around 12 o clock. At first i thought it may be m...

re: Anyone else just fed up with America right now - RoosterCogburn585
Yeah. I guess you make a good point. I'm not fed up with America. I love it and the principles it was founded on. I'm just fed up with a certain group of people who are doing everything they can to destroy it. Tired of having to post posting my thoughts on a message board, where it seems everyone is...

Anyone else just fed up with America right now - RoosterCogburn585
We live in a time where a Gov is praised for removing statues while neglecting a city to the point of it flooding when there is a heavy downpour. Protests every freaking day about something stupid. Whether it be about what someone said or them not denouncing a group soon enough or not denouncing th...

Skiff vs Bay Boat - RoosterCogburn585
Went to Bass Pro the other day and was really liking the new Mako 19' skiff. Are there any drawbacks to having a skiff as opposed to a traditional bay boat? I predominately fish inshore. Anyone have any experience with the Mako's?...

re: Shimano Corolis CO-100E - RoosterCogburn585
Hmm. That may be the case. Similar situation on the other reel I took apart. Stuff seemed to be pretty stuck together, but if you wiggled it, it would come apart. Was scared to break it, but it eventually came apart. I will have to try your suggestion when I get home. Thanks for the advice. ...

Shimano Corolis CO-100E - RoosterCogburn585
I was finally able to get my Pflueger reel back together with new bearings name it's like a whole new reel. My next reel to tackle is a Shimano Corolis CO-100E. I found the schematics for it online and began my takedown. I removed the side plate on the reel and ran into a problem. The reel has an ea...

re: 2 stroke Mercury 60 problems - RoosterCogburn585
I was actually just thinking about that myself. Seems like there would be some type of precedent or something for a class action lawsuit. I mean if you can sue McDonald's because their coffee is too hot, seems like this would be a slam dunk. ...

re: 2 stroke Mercury 60 problems - RoosterCogburn585
Well, just heard back from the mechanic on what the problem is. Apparently the liner on the inside of the fuel hose came undone in little pieces and was scattered throughout the fuel system. After doing a little research, this looks to be a pretty common problem on Mercury motors. ...
