Who knows, you may be correct in your assumption.

Then again…it’s an assumption.

At this point, the allegation may very well be false.

It it can be proven though, someone is going to be paid (and correctly so).

He's actually done a lot of great things @ WHS, especially bringing trades to kids not interested in College.

This incident is strange though, so it'll be really interesting to see how this plays out.

litigation against a school system is a nightmare. Plus if she was awarded the judgement our state constitution states it is at the district discretion to allocate money for the judgement. Hints why it’s hard to find an attorney to even take a case like this. Her best bet would be to sue the principal in his personal capacity.

This was posted by someone on one of the FB pages. Not sure how accurate. Maybe the OT lawyers can weigh in.

I'll put money on it that they don't allow anyone wearing one of those shirts to enter the gates. They may also label them domestic terrorists.

JFC can a kid have some legal fun without jeopardizing their future?

No. But they also do it to themselves with the ever present need to film and document nearly ever aspect of their lives, regardless of its significance (or lack thereof)

I truly feel blessed to have been a part of the last generation to go through adolescence (including college) without the prevalence of cellular phones (at least camera phones) and social media.

Hell, I’m old enough now to remember getting a text message late night booty-call and FRANTICALLY trying to figure out how to text a reply (I don’t think I had ever sent a text message before). I’m pretty sure I just said “frick it”, and just called the girl back.

When I read 90% of your posts I see them coming out of the mouth of The Dude in your avatar picture. That completely lost look is the visual representation of your grasp on the topic.

Sounds like a typical drive-by media hit piece. We only get the mom’s side of the story.

This is a child at a private event with no affiliation to the school. That’s the only side that fricking matters.

I don’t think I’d call losing homecoming queen “life-altering”
