For the record, I don't go to the BR Zoo. Why? It's a shite hole located in a shite hole of an area.

I like the zoo. The kids love the train ride, Tigers, monkeys and otters. Go to the zoo and let your kids have fun you frickin snob. It's cheap as frick and 20 min from your house.

We are Audubon Members too. Going to insect and aquarium Saturday

They will never move it. BREC leadership has no desire to become targets of the race hustlers.

frick the people that actually pay to fund BREC

I don't want it to move. I support BREC. We go to the zoo, liberty lagoon, several splash pads, and use the new path at Kenilworth often. What I do wrong?

Can't go. Too many bad memories. Every time I hear "choo choo" my wife turns beat red and we get into an argument.

I recently moved. Haven't told anyone, but I'm about 5 minutes away. Found a great investment property off LA-67 near I-110. Couldn't beat the price.

Based upon Andrea's tweets tonight, she said surprisingly there was no division among racial lines (unlike EBRCOA).

Refreshing actually.

So besides a levee breach, what's the flood risk along the Nicholson corridor by the casino? Has the study refenced in this article been released to the public yet?

Close the zoo

Sell off the animals if possible

Turn it into a police substation

Purchase the area between I-10 and LSU for an open air bird sanctuary (after the existing housing is torn down)

Use current BREC money to pay for a "park" under the new I-10 Loop.

Hold a BBQ at the old zoo.

Save money by not having to feed animals.

Sell land to developer and pave over with cheap houses.

Skim money from BREC by hiring 'brother in law's' firm to cut grass, paint etc.

Absolutely none, that is complete nonsense. No one in that area flooded.

I live in baker. It is not "north Baton Rouge." Big, big difference and you would know this if you spent any time here
