I'm getting mine on Thursday of the Masters and I also opted for the IV sedation. I'd be nervous as hell if I was awake (and I'm a physician)

Utter bullshite in my case. My guy loaded me up on a shite ton of Vicodin, so I knew he did major work. I’ve heard of some, not being prescribed any pain meds. frick that shite..wouldn’t have made it without them.
Definitely not worth being put to sleep for. They give you a shot in the balls that stings, and there is some weird sensations, but the worst of it isn’t till later.

I’ll say this, in two days or so, when you think you’re feeling better. Stay the frick put..don’t do anything. We went looking at houses for a few hours on the Sunday after the Friday snip..and that was a big mistake that I paid for.

I'm in the 1-2% who get the long term scrotal pain. Almost three years since the vasectomy and my balls still feel sore frequently. Ejaculating doesn't feel good and makes everything sore for about a day.
