they always say they attempted to deliver something and use a terrible excuse as to why they couldnt when we all know the real reason is bc they didnt want to drive down driveway

Two weeks ago i was sitting on my couch 20 feet from the front door. Got an alert a package was delivered. Went outside and checked everywhere. No package. The tracking said it was delivered the same minute i got the alert. I can always hear the UPS/USPS/FedEx trucks coming down my street and their brakes. I'm pretty sure no delivery truck even came down my street.

But luckily it was Amazon and they sent another one out. The original package showed up 4 days later. Then i had to work with Amazon to ship it back since i didn't want to be dishonest and get two items for the price of one. Huge hassle. All thanks to fricking USPS. They can get bent. This isnt the first time.

USPS in Shreveport is fricking horrible. The office in my location has lost two packages and delivered one of mine to my neighbor.

To be honest, I was amazed at the service. I also contacted Amazon and they refunded my card. I asked about what if the package shows up. Their response was "Merry Christmas." All around win.

I see you are in Shreveport. There has been a huge rush of people following Ups fedex and usps trucks and stealing packages after they've been left by the door.

You probably got jacked.

Since Amazon started with usps they have lost 3 orders. Don't even know where it's at. That's in one month

Try to avoid shipping and receiving items this time of year. The delivery services are swamped and use a lot of part time people. shite gets messed up.

I've had two deliveries to my door that weren't mine. Not even the right street. No idea how that possibly happens.

Paige, you might have to stay on it until something is done, but in my experience dealing with USPS has never been the best experience.

Based on my experience, 2-day delivery is a week and 2 days.

Bought a gift on Amazon Dec 11th, package got here from IL on the 17th. Supposedly it could not be delivered and sat at the post office for 4 days. Status was not updated until it said sent back to seller and now it's in Memphis.

Now seller is sending another one that won't get here until after the new year. WTH.

USPS sucks. Wish they would privatize it. Employees have no initiative to get shite right.

I'm not sure about the $100 thing

Priority mail is automatically insured for up to $100. If the package disappears into oblivion, you owe the buyer a refund and the USPS owes you a refund. You would file a claim with a copy if the transaction as proof of value.

I used to work in ecommerce and had to deal with these issues with all three carriers. UPS was the worst, FedEx the best.

If that were the case the tracking would show delivered. It disappeared between USPS locations.
