I send shite to the IRS for work and have always used USPS with return receipt. I have never had an issue up until the last couple months when they lost like 10 of my filings. I use FedEx now.
Said the same thing "in transit to destination".....just never got there, I filed a claim which they said was inconclusive. This was 10 separate filings with 10 separate tracking numbers.

Nearly the same story. The company I bought from normally uses UPS, but for some reason, they turn it over to UPS for my location. Never arrived. I was home all day the day it was supposedly delivered. Filed a claim and all of the bullshite you're supposed to do, knowing it was a complete waste of time. Never received a call or update on anything.
The company I bought from (west marine) immediately sent a new item, and made sure to keep it with UPS until it hit my door.
frick USPS.
