Up 63% in middle aged women and 43% in middle aged men. Overall, the annual rate has doubled in the last decade.

Causes, anyone?

Living and ending life on their own terms. Quality of life is decreasing, expect the rate to keep increasing.

I have no idea but I would consider less actual social interaction in real world relationships probably plays a role.

The price of living on electronic devices perhaps?

Increased heroin usage and suicide have decreased the life expectancy of white people for the first time ever.

Um, probably the amount of dysfunctional bullshite we're exposed to on a daily basis. Things like "chalking", and "bathroom discrimination" come to mind. Add in situations like a Hillary/Trump presidential ticket, you've got plenty of reasons not to want to wait it out here on Earth. The amount of "crisis" situations we're exposed to on a daily basis has far outpaced evolution. We're in constant high alert comparative to our ancestors.

I'm going with social media.

Just because it seems to be the rage to blame social media for every thing, might as well add this.

As I posted in the other thread

Ill add that since Vietnam we haven't had a large purging of citizens.

The first time ever? I doubt that.

Weak minded people that wouldn't have made it through any downturn in history. Good riddance!
