Seriously? If anything on a message board affects someone's ego one way or the other... They have underlying issues

I got temporarily banned once and as far as TD goes, it gave the most psychological effects.

3 years ago my dad was recovering from a stroke. i'd go visit him every day, stay a while and mostly just talk. stupid stuff, ya know...what i did that day, how hospital food sucks, all that. i told him about landing a new job, and he said "that's nice, son." i told him about the new girl who was crazy about me, and he said "that's nice, son." but when i told him i got 3 upvotes and none of them were mine, he looked me right in the eye, pulled the oxygen tube from his nose and said "i'm proud of you, son. i wish your mom was around to hear this." he didn't even cry at her funeral, but i think i saw a tear welling up in his bloodshot eyes. so you wanna know if there's a psychological effect? just ask my old man. but you can't because he died right after that. he died from too much pride. and a clot.

I racked up twenty five of them bad boys explaining to the movie nerds that Jerry Seinfeld was an a-hole. I've been cutting myself all day but it was totally worth it, frick that guy.
