No. That's at the corner of Florida and 3rd. This is a block south at Convention and 3rd.

Downtown Baton Rouge is light years ahead of where it was 20 years ago. Now we just need to widen the interstate so people can get there.

I would have though the opposite after staying in both.

I think they are on par with Hilton in the US.....not as nice as Ritz or Autograph as far as Marriott properties go.

The Hilton in downtown Baton Rouge is very nice though.

The Holiday Inn isn't open yet. I passed it earlier and it looks like they're a few months away.

But I'm sure it'll be clean, unvarnished, and will provide your basic essentials - the typical Holiday Inn Express. Here's a rendering

A Ritz Carlton it ain't, but I'm sure that Holiday-Inn will be fine.

Is there a CVS or anything downtown yet? Huge need.

Nope but there's both a grocery store (Matherne's) & pharmacy (Presciptions to Geaux) on Third St.
